Will there ever be a Tarantino Star Trek movie? God I hope so. One was rumoured from 2019... but haven't heard anything lately.

I have been watching tons of original Star Trek from the late 1960's on Netflix and find the series "fascinating" (as Spock would say).
Then I heard rumours (and even an article in Emprire magazine) that a Tarantino movie was being considered. Will it ever come out?
