An article popped up in someone's AIM info that interested me. It was by a columnist that was obsessed with New Jersey. I, myself, didn't know why there was any reason to be that way about NJ. It's a state just like any other...
that's not too special. I live in it, though. But this opinion changed when I started to read the article. There were lines such as, "New Jersey is dirty" in it that made me think... is that what people really think of the state that I live in? Damn, and I call people from other states dirty. But what the guy was trying to get out through his writing made me actually be proud that I live in the small state of NJ. It may not look like much on the map but these are the facts: The Jets and the Giants play home games in N.J. Bon Jovi, The Boss, Jack Nickolson, Danny Devito, Woodrow Wilson and Jay and Silent Bob are all from N.J. The gas is cheap here. There are some of the nicest beaches that lie with in this state. All of this some people fail to realize while they talk about what they, most likely, haven't even been to. This article made me think, and I hope this one makes you feel the same... especially if you're from NJ.
Keep in mind that this was written by a 12 year old kid that hopes to be just like Quentin Tarantino when he grows up. That's why I came to this site. I thought that it was based on the movie.
